WIFT was built by founders who lived the problem from every angle — event production, event technology, and engineering. That combination is why the product works.
J.R. is a seasoned entrepreneur and the CEO of The 180 Group, a premier event production company specializing in complex, high-stakes meetings for top-tier pharma and med tech clients. With two decades of experience producing live events, he has seen the capacity problem firsthand — hundreds of times, across hundreds of contracts.
He didn't build WIFT because he read about the problem. He built it because he lived it. Every sourcing cycle, every mis-quoted room, every cascade of rework that followed a bad fit — all of it informed exactly what the tool needed to do and how fast it needed to do it.
J.R.'s leadership style is rooted in execution, transparency, and vision. He led WIFT from concept to market by identifying a gap that every planner knew existed but no tool had addressed: the gap between a hotel's quoted capacity and the production-ready truth.
"The industry doesn't have a capacity problem. It has a honesty problem. Hotels know the room doesn't fit. WIFT just makes it impossible to pretend otherwise."
Kris is a veteran of the event technology world, with more than 15 years of experience building software solutions for agencies, production teams, and planners. His background spans design, UX, product development, and strategic consulting — having worked on both the tech side and the user side of the planning process.
As COO, Kris oversees WIFT's day-to-day operations, ensuring that product development stays aligned with what planners actually need — not what sounds good in a features list. His pragmatic, user-first mindset informs everything from interface design to delivery timelines.
He is deeply committed to building tools that perform under pressure, because event planning always is pressure. Fast, reliable, and clear is the standard. Kris ensures WIFT meets it.
"Most event tech is built for the tool, not the planner. WIFT is built for the moment — the sourcing call, the site visit, the RFP response. Speed is the feature."
With nine years of front-end engineering experience, Seun has led major codebase rewrites and guided cross-functional teams of 20+ developers in high-stakes government consulting environments. His work has directly contributed to contract wins and renewals in environments where precision is non-negotiable.
Seun brings that same standard to WIFT. The calculation has to be right. The interface has to be fast. The output has to be shareable in seconds. Every technical decision at WIFT flows through those three requirements.
As CTO, he leads technical architecture, front-end innovation, and AI feature development. He is known for building scalable, elegant interfaces — and for fostering a culture where engineering excellence and mentorship coexist. His commitment to user-centric design makes him a cornerstone of everything WIFT ships.
"A calculation that takes 30 minutes isn't a tool. A calculation that takes 30 seconds changes how people work. That's the engineering goal — make the hard thing instant."
